Electric car statistics for Europe

The battery-electric share of new cars, yearly registrations and the leading brands, from each country's own registration data. Trends use the same 11 countries every month (the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland and Czechia). Brand and model tables for 10 countries, with Tesla vs BYD and Chinese brands' share, are on European EV registrations by brand and model.
